The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on April 28, 2022.
Chair Russ Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Russ Thomas, Dick Demerly, James Norder, Donna Ash.
Moved by Donna Ash to approve the meeting agenda, seconded by Russ Thomas. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: Not available
Public Comment:
Brian & Holly Drake – Spoke to the board about the changes they wished to make to their variance request.
Manitou Lake Structure Committee Member – Read letter submitted to the committee from the Drakes.
Michelle Felton – Apologized to the board for her passionate response to the board at the last meeting.
Old Business:
Variance Change Request – Dingens/Drake – No official paperwork regarding changes. Board took no new action.
New Business:
Moved by Dick Demerly to approve Lot Line Adjustment Application #PLLA22-013 by Mike Zacharda of 1230 W. Garrison Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. Property Owner Rolene R. Zacharda of 4730 S. Morrice Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. Parent Parcels numbers are 010-11-400-001 & 010-11-400-001-05. Seconded by James Norder. Motion carried.
Moved by Russ Thomas to approve a Class E – Distressed Vehicle Transporter License for Otts Auto Parts LLC, 7500 S. M 52, Owosso, MI 48867 for Montell Thompson. Seconded by James Norder. Motion carried.
