The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on February 28, 2019.
Chair Russ Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Russ Thomas, Jim Norder, Donna Ash, Bill Nash, Larry Johnson, Frank Gregory and Dick Demerly.
Moved by Larry Johnson to approve the meeting agenda. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
Moved by Larry Johnson to approve the minutes for the January 31, 2019 meeting. Seconded by Russ Thomas. Motion carried.

Russ Thomas and Larry Johnson attended the meeting of the Shiawassee County Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7:00pm. They updated the Bennington Township Planning Commission on the proceedings. The Shiawassee County Zoning Board of Appeals approved the variance request Application # PZBA18-020 by Brian Harmon of 3821 W. Bennington Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. They also approved the variance request Application # PZBA18-021 by Jolene Harris of 6559 S. Delaney Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. Both request applications were approved by a 3 to 1 vote. No action taken.
Moved by Larry Johnson to approve of the Variance Request #PZBA19-005 by Cindy Garber of 3522 S. Friegel Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. Site location is 3522 S Friegel Rd., Owosso, MI 48867; Tax ID# 010-06-200-002, Section 06. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
The Board reviewed the Site Plan Review Application Request #PSPR19-001 of Todd & Jennifer Flagg. Site location is 6611 S. M-52, Owosso, MI 48867—Tax ID# 010-22-300-005-02, Section 22, Bennington Township. No action taken.
