Comments from the audience:
Richard Hafner spoke and answered question on the Hafner Land Division Application and voiced his concern about delays
Tom Routhier of the Shiawassee County Tax Equalization Department stated that in his opinion the resolution to the Dutcher Properties problem is to combine all properties in the same name/names so the Dutcher Properties do not count against Hafner Land Divisions.
Peter Preston, Shiawassee County Planning & Zoning Department spoke on the Hafner Land Development. He is waiting for a response from the State of Michigan to a letter written by the Shiawassee County Planning & Zoning Department concerning the Hafner Land Development. Mr. Preston stated that with the resolution of the Dutcher Properties, the Hafner Land Development could move forward providing there were no questions raised by the State of Michigan
Robert & Sharon Wells, potential purchasers of a lot on the Hafner Land Development voiced their concern that the process is moving slower than they had hoped. Wayne Petersen, Motz Homes, the builder for Robert & Sharon Wells voiced his concerns that he would like final approval of the Hafner Land Development so he could begin construction on a new home for Robert & Sharon Wells before winter.
President Robert Schoch stated as far as everyone is concerned the issues with the Hafner Land Development have been resolved providing the State of Michigan does not have additional questions.
Rod Harmon moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:37 PM. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
