November 7, 2022
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on November 7, 2022, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Matt Dutcher, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Dutcher. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the October 3, 2022 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as corrected in the amount of $127,202.59. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
Kyle Harris – Introduced himself as a candidate for the County Administrators position.
Deputy Hartz – Update on stats for the Township.
Co Comm Garber – Update on County activities.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Update.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – No meeting.
Roads – L. Ash – All projects for the year are complete.
Old Business:
Assessor – Letter from Treasury indicating that the corrective plan has been accepted.
New Business:
Township Park Trail Bid – Dutcher moved to accept the bid from B&C Jeff Bartz & Co. to install a walking path loop on the Township property as outlined in the bid as a cost of $41,545.00. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by Dutcher. Motion carried.
