July 5, 2022
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order on July 5, 2022, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.
Not Present: Matt Dutcher
Forsythe moved to accept the agenda with the addition of bid from G&W’s Family Lawncare. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to accept the minutes as printed for the June 6, 2022 regular meeting. Second by Baker. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $19,065.12. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
10 residents from West Grand River Road spoke of their concern of a noise issue in their neighborhood.
Co Comm C. Garber gave an update of county activities.
Board Reports:
Library – C. Garber – Audit is complete and renovations to the Owosso branch have also been done.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – No meeting.
Roads – L. Ash – Working on projects.
Old Business: None
New Business:
JJ’s Excavating & Tree Service – Payment request – Discussed.
G&W’s Family Lawncare Bid – Baker moved to accept the bid from G&W’s Family Lawncare to brush hog field where brush was removed at a cost of $750.00. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
