January 3, 2022
The Bennington Township regular meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on January 3, 2022, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Lee Ash, Donna Ash, Matt Dutcher, Jim Forsythe, Cody Baker.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Dutcher. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the Minutes of the December 6, 2021 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $116,854.47. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
Comm Garber gave an update of the County Activities.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Updated the board.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – Recommended approval of one Lot Line Adjustment.
Roads – L. Ash – County is working on their recommended projects.

New Business:
Retirement Plan – Dutcher moved to approve the Retirement Plan Document as presented with Burnham & Flower for the Mandatory IRS Restatement Cycle. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Website Proposal – Forsythe presented the board with some website proposals to update the current website.
2022 -2023 Meeting Dates – Forsythe moved to approve the 2022 -2023 regular board meeting dates as presented with meetings being held on the first Monday of each month, except when it falls on a holiday, then the meeting will be held on the following Tuesday, all meeting will be at the Township Hall at 7:00pm. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Annual Meeting – Township will continue to not hold an annual meeting. All annual meeting activities will take place at a regularly scheduled meeting unless otherwise posted.
L. Ash moved to adjourn. Second by Forsythe. Motion carried.
