The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on May 3, 2021, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Matt Dutcher, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Baker. Motion carried.
Dutcher moved to approve the minutes for the April 4, 2021 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $257,468.77. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
MMR – Janine Wilk - Presented the March Report.
County Comm Garber – Updated the board on county activities.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Update.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – Recommended approval of one land division.
Roads – L. Ash – All road project contracts have been signed.
Old Business: None
New Business:
Greater Laingsburg Recyclers – Dave Draggoo gave a report on the activities and their future plan, requesting financial contributions.
MAGNET – Received letter requesting financial contributions.
Property Resale – Dutcher moved to sell Township owned parcel #010-15-300-004-02, includes house, at a price of $169,900, listed with Debbie Caldwell, American Associates, Inc. with at commission of 4.5%, and give Supervisor Lee Ash the authority to act on sign on behalf of the Township. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by Baker. Motion carried.
