BENNINGTON TOWNSHIP
Regular Board Meeting

February 3, 2020

The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on February 3, 2020, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.

Present: Jim Forsythe, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.
Matt Dutcher arrived at 7:10pm.

Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Baker. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the January 6, 2020 regular board meeting as presented. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Second by Forsythe. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $10.965.41. Second by Baker. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.

Public Comment:
Travis Smith – Commented on his concerns for the weight restrictions placed on the bridge on Tyrrell Road west of M-52. 
Co Comm Garber – Gave an update.

Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Preparing for audit.
Plan Comm – D. Ash- Discussion of the Shiawassee County Master Plan Update.
Roads – L. Ash – Discussion of Road Projects, review for next meeting.

Old Business:
Election Equipment – Forsythe moved to approve the purchase of an additional ImageCast Precinct Tabulator and Ballot Box form Dominion at a cost of $5,295.00. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

New Business:
2020 Lawn Mowing Bids – Four bids were received. Review bids for next meeting.

Farmer Market – Wine Vendor – An inquiry was made about being a wine vendor at the Township Farmers Market.  Check with insurance and with the vendor for additional information and bring back to the next meeting.
2020 – 2021 Preliminary Budget – Review for approval at next meeting.

Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by Baker. Motion carried.
