BENNINGTON TOWNSHIP
Regular Board Meeting

November 4, 2019

The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on November 4, 2019, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Matt Dutcher, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.

Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Dutcher. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes as printed for the October 7, 2019 regular board meeting. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Dutcher moved to approve the minutes as printed for the October 28, 2019 special board meeting. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $230,523.32. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

Public Comment:
Co Comm Cindy Garber gave an update, including they are currently working on the budget for next year.

Board Reports:
Library- Garber – Update.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – Meeting was canceled due to no agenda items.
Roads – L. Ash – All projects for the year are complete.

Old Business:
Lot Line Adjustment – Opinion received from the Township Attorney regarding Lot Line Adjustments.  Contact the County for further information and the Township Planning Commission.

New Business:
Street Lighting Contract – Forsythe moved to adopt a resolution to authorize Consumers Energy  Company to make changes in the lighting service as provided in the Standard Lighting Contract (#100000388890)with changes to the contract of crossing out the Notification Numbers and the Construction Work Order Numbers. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried. (Complete wording of resolution and contract are available at the Township Hall.)
Forsythe moved to adopt a resolution to enter into a contract (#103022266888)with Consumers Energy Company for furnish lighting service within the Township of Bennington for a period of 2 years and thereafter from year to year. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried. (Complete wording of resolution and contract are available at the Township Hall.)

Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
