October 7, 2019
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on October 7, 2019, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Lee Ash, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the September 4, 2019 regular board meeting as printed. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $44,316.39. Second by Forsythe. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
MMR – Presented a report.
Board Reports:
Plan Comm – D. Ash – Recommended approval of one variance and one land division.
Roads – L. Ash – All projects are complete except for crack fill and lines.

New Business:
Trustee Resignation – Forsythe moved to accept the resignation from Trustee Nancy Zdunic as of September 28, 2019 with our thanks for her service of 24 years on the Township Board. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to accept letters of interest for the open Trustee position until Friday October 25, 2019 and to hold a special meeting on Monday, October 28, 2019, 7:00pm, to review the letters and appoint a new Trustee to the Township Board. Second by Forsythe. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Matt Dutcher arrived at 7:33pm.
Twin Oaks Snowplowing – Forsythe moved to accept the bid from Twin Oaks Mowing and Snowplowing at the same price as last year, $80/plow at @2inchs for Hall, $130/plow for 6inches or more for the Hall, $45/hour for addition plowing, Salt upon request at $105/application or $15 per bag. Second by L. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.
Lot Line Adjustment Procedure – Reviewed will hold for next meeting.
MTA Annual – Bennington Township will host November 5.
Cindy Garber gave an a County Commission update and a Library Board report.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
