BENNINGTON TOWNSHIP
Regular Board Meeting

The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on June 3, 2019, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Matt Dutcher, Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Donna Ash.

Forsythe moved to approve the agenda with the addition of Cemetery Rose Bushes. Second by Zdunic. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the May 6, 2019 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Zdunic.  All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $17,691.77. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

Public Comment:
Co Comm Garber – Gave a report to update the board.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Update.
Plan Comm – Reviewed two land divisions and one variance.

• Dutcher moved to concur with the Planning Commission and approve land division application PLD19-009 for Cindy Garber, Parcel #010-06-200-002. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
• Forsythe moved to concur with the Planning Commission and approve land division application PLD19-0014 for Richard Ball and Thomas Flynn, Parcel #010-07-400-003 and #010-07-300-001. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
• L. Ash moved to concur with the Township Planning Commission and approve variance request #PZBA19-011 for Mark Agnew/Brandon Lepior at 3219 S. M-52, Owosso, Parcel #010-03-100-007, regarding signage. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
• Forsythe moved to approve variance request #PZBA19-012 for Michael Berthume/Brandon Lepior at 3219 S. M-52, Owosso, Parcel #010-03-100-007, to allow a commercial structure (farm market) that encroaches into the minimum front yard setback from the road right of way (M-52). Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

Roads – L. Ash – Update.

New Business:
1% Administration Fee – Dutcher moved to approve the Property Tax Administration Fee of 1% for 2019 property taxes. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Cemetery Rose Bushes – Zdunic will check with nursery for replacements. Zdunic moved to replace rose bushes at the cemeteries. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

L. Ash moved to adjourn. Second by Zdunic. Motion carried.
