November 4, 2013
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on November 4, 2013, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy
Zdunic, Donna Ash
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the October 7, 2013 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $27,391.59. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Deputy Jason Duffield- Sheriff’s Department Update.
Jeff Bartz- County Comm Update.
Library- No report.
Plan Comm- D. Ash- Next meeting 11/21/13.
Roads- L. Ash- Update.
Web Page- Forsythe- Update.
Cemetery Deed Transfer Fee- No action taken at this time.
Business Associates Agreement- Attorney Lynn Bowne reviewed the agreement and gave a recommendation of not to have the Township sign the agreement. L. Ash moved to no sign the Business Associates Agreement from Burnham & Flower. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Hall Decorating Early- The board will review the wording in the Hall Rental Contract for next meeting.
MTA Annual Dinner- November 8. Officials will pay at the door.
Snow Plow Bid- Zdunic moved to accept the bid from Twin Oaks Mowing and Snowplowing L.L.C. at a cost of $60.00 per plow of hall parking lot, $85.00 per salt of parking lot on request only, and $45.00 per hour for any additional plowing. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Al Root- Sexton- Update on the cemeteries.
Speed limit reduction request of Garrison Rd. in the area of Manitou Subdivision.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
