Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to
order by Supervisor Lee Ash on
July
5, 2010, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Donna
Ash.
Nancy
Zdunic, Jim Forsythe not present.
Lee Ash moved to approve the agenda. Second by Garber.
Motion carried.
Lee
Ash moved to approve the minutes for the June 7, 2010
regular board meeting as printed. Second by
Garber. Motion carried by unanimous
consent.
Donna Ash moved to approve the treasurer's report as
presented. Second by Lee Ash. Motion
carried by unanimous consent.
Lee
Ash moved to pay bills as printed in the amount of
$98,809.36. Second by Garber. Motion
carried
by unanimous consent.

Roads- L. Ash- Road projects are scheduled to begin soon.
Unfinished Business:
SATA- Larry Alpert- Executive Director present and nine
residents/non-residents present for
comment.
All people present in favor of the Townships support of
SATA.
Garber moved to
place on the November 2, 2010 General election ballot
the proposal for Township to levy up to 0.15 mills for
four years to contract with SATA for services of public
transportation. Second by
L. Ash. Roll call vote: Garber- yes, D. Ash- yes, L.
Ash- yes. Motion carried.
New
Business:
Parking Lot Lines- L. Ash moved to have Advance Asphalt
&
Sealcoating
paint lines
in the
Township Hall parking lot at a cost of $210.00. Second
by Garber. Motion carried by unanimous consent.
L. Ash moved to adjourn. Second by Garber. Motion carried.
