The Bennington Township
Annual Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee
Ash on March 31,
2010, 7:00pm at the Bennington Township Hall.
Present:
Board Members- Lee Ash, Cindy Garber, Jim Forsythe, Nancy Zdunic,
Donna Ash.
Attorney- Lynn Bowne
Residents- Gerald Sayles, Paul Zdunic, Frank Gregory, Bill Ware.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve
the minutes for the March 31, 2009 annual meeting
as printed. Second
by Zdunic. Yes-5, No-O. Motion carried.
Supervisor Comments- Lee Ash- Year End Report of Township
Activities.
Spring Clean Up Day will be held May

from 8:00am
to Noon. Township
residents may bring in their junk for disposal. There are
some
restrictions.
Township Farmers Market
will begin June 14 at the
Township Hall from
4:00pm
to 7:00pm and every
Monday there after until October. Vendors with home grown
products are
welcome.
Web Site Review- Forsythe gave an update.

New Business:
201O-2011 Meeting Dates- Forsythe moved to accept the 2010-2011 regular meeting
dates for the first Monday of each month unless Monday is a legal holiday,
then the meeting
will be held on the first available day. Second by L. Ash. Yes-5,
No-D.

2011 Annual Meeting- D.
Ash moved to hold an annual meeting for 2011. Second
by Garber. Yes-5,
No-O. Motion carried.

Comment- None.
Township Attorney- Lynn Bowne- Opened the floor for questions for the attorney. There were none. Bowne mentioned that the Township Assessor must now be hired as an employee. (The Township has already taken action on this point).
Library-
The Township Board was open to comment from residents
regarding
library
services. As the millage for the District Library is up
for renewal
in 2012, it is
now time to once again review the Library options for
the Township.
Zdunic moved to adjourn. Second by Forsythe. Motion
carried.
