The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on April 6, 2009, 7:00pm at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda with additions. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the minutes for the March 2, 2009 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Garber. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Zdunic moved to approve the minutes for the March 17, 2009 and the March 31, 2009 special board meetings as printed. Second by Garber. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Zdunic moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $16,344.77. Second by Forsythe. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Comments from the floor:
Daniel Hafner- Springbrook Lake development, concerned with some of the things that are taking place with the development.

SSESA- report on file.
Library- B. Adcock- minutes on file for March 26, 2009.
Plan Comm- D. Ash- reviewed a SUP for Eddie Louch. There is an opening for a new member on the board.
Roads- L. Ash- Forsythe moved to accept the contract form Shia. Co. Road Comm. For the application of mineral well brine at a total cost of $11,900.00. Second by L. Ash. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.

Unfinished Business:
SATA contract- D. Ash moved to accept the SATA contract as printed with the clarification from the attorney regarding Section 5. Second by Garber. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Farmers Market- Forsythe moved to allow for the scheduling of a farmers market to take place this summer. Second by Garber.
Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Audit Contract- Forsythe moved to accept the contract from Demis & Wenzlich for the 2008-2009 audit at a cost of $4400.00. Second by D. Ash. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Earth Day- L. Ash moved to purchase lunch for the volunteers at Henderson Park on April 25, 2009 on Earth Day clean up not to exceed $100.00. Second by Garber. Roll call vote: All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to adjourn. Second by Garber. Motion carried.
