The Bennington Township Special Board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on February 21, 2007, 2:00pm at the Bennington Township Hall.
Present: Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Gerald Sayles, Donna Ash.
Ray Wirth - not present.
Agenda items: 2007-2008 Budget & 2007-2008 Road Projects
Sayles moved to suspend with regular meeting procedure and move on to the business of the day. Second by Zdunic. Motion carried.
2007-2008 Road Projects:
The suggested road projects by the Shiawassee Country Road Commission
were discussed along with other possible projects. The
Shiawassee County Road Commission will be present at the March 5, 2007
regular meeting to present the proposed projects. After the Road
Commission presentation, and the Township Board has the opportunity to
discuss with the Road Commission these projects, and other possible
projects, a final decision will be made on the 2007-2008 Road Projects.
2007-2008 Budget:
The 2007-2008 Preliminary budget was reviewed and discussed. Some
line items were changed and the final preliminary budget will be on the
agenda for the March 5, 2007 regular meeting. The proposed 2007-2008
Preliminary Budget will be presented at the Township Annual Meeting which
will be held on March 29, 2007 at 7:00PM.
Sayles moved to adjourn. Second by Zdunic. Motion
carried.
